T2E Rules

1. 4th Down Rule
1.1 Conditions for Going on 4th Down
1.1.1 You may go for it if:

  • It is 4th and 2 or less and past the 50-yard line.
  • You are down by 14 points at any point in the game.
  • In the 4th quarter, you may go for it at any distance, regardless of being up or down.
  • In the red zone (inside opponent’s 20-yard line), you may go for it at any distance.

2. Chew Clock
2.1 Usage Conditions
2.1.1 Chew clock may only be activated if:

  • You are leading by 28 or more points at any point in the game. Otherwise, chew clock is not allowed.
  • Rage quitting is prohibited, even if you feel a rule has been broken.
  • You may concede in the 4th quarter if you are down in points.

3. Game Scheduling
3.1 Scheduling Requirements
3.1.1 Games must be scheduled within 12 hours after the game week advances.
3.1.2 Players should provide a 4-hour window for play time to their opponent.

  • Example: “I am available between 3 pm – 7 pm EST today. What time works for you?”
  • “Can you play now?” or “I’m free after 3pm EST” does not constitute a valid play time window.

3.2 Contact and Fair Sim Rules
– If your opponent does not respond within 24 hours, you may request a force win.
– If neither player contacts the other within 24 hours, the game will be considered a fair sim.

3.3 Fair/Force Sim Rule Requirements

  • Players must contact their opponent at least three times with 6-hour intervals between attempts to request a force win.
  • Proof of contact must be provided to an admin.
  • Both players must agree on a playtime window; if not, the game will be a fair sim.
  • If a player agrees to a time, they have a 20-minute grace period to appear. Failure to appear grants a force win to the waiting player.

4. Gameplay Rules
4.1 Defensive and Offensive Play Restrictions

  • Rush at least three players on defense; a spy does not count as a rusher.
  • Monster Formation is banned. Violations result in a 1-game suspension.
  • “Scum Kicking” is banned. Violations result in a 1-game suspension.
  • Motion snapping is prohibited unless a player comes to a complete stop before the snap, except in plays with designed motion.
  • Mix play concepts on both offense and defense. Repeated use of the same defense, such as Cover 3, even from different formations, is prohibited.

4.2 Offensive Play Variation

  • Plays and concepts cannot be repeated back-to-back. You may not run the same play twice in a row or within two plays of its last call unless in hurry-up offense.
  • RPOs and Option plays must have two plays between them; consecutive calls of these plays will result in suspension.

4.3 Defensive Play Violations

  • Exploiting AI mechanics (e.g., loop blitzing) or hovering over offensive linemen for free rushes results in a suspension.

5. Trades
5.1 Trade Rules and Approvals

  • If a user leaves the league after a trade, all trades must revert to their original owners.
  • All trades require approval from the trade committee before finalization.

6. Broadcasting
6.1 Broadcasting Rules

  • Regular season broadcasting is optional, though rewards are available.
  • All playoff games must be broadcasted by both participants. Failure to broadcast will result in forfeiture of prize money for both players.

7. Position Changes
7.1 Rules for Non-Platinum and Platinum Players

  • Non-Platinum players may move any non-superstar or non-x-factor players at any time.
  • Platinum Plan players may move any players freely, within rule limitations.

7.2 Position-Specific Movement

  • DBs, LBs, and O-line players are interchangeable within their groups.
  • LB to DE position changes are allowed.
  • WR to TE, HB to FB, WR to HB, or HB to WR changes are not allowed.
  • If unauthorized movement occurs, players will revert to Normal trait status.

7.3 Breakout Game Proof Requirements

  • Screenshot breakout games for verification in case of sim or lag out. Video proof must be submitted for rule violations.

7.4 Penalties for Infractions

  • Regular season infraction: 1-game suspension or a $100 fine.
  • Playoff infraction: forfeiture of half of winnings.
  • Additional infractions may incur further penalties, and individual players may be suspended for rule violations.

8. Upgrade Policy
8.1 Upgrade Limitations

  • Members may only upgrade 8 players at a time, with 4 on offense and 4 on defense.
  • The upgrade list is due before Week 2 of the regular season.
  • Only listed players may be upgraded using wheels, store items, passes, or Tone bucks.
  • To apply contracts, players must be on the upgrade list.

9. Administrative Discretion
9.1 Rule Enforcement and Penalties

  • All rules and their associated punishments or fines are subject to admin discretion.
  • Each situation will be evaluated individually to determine appropriate actions based on the context and specifics of the infraction.
  • Admins reserve the right to adjust penalties, issue fines, or implement alternative solutions as deemed necessary.
